You can choose from three outstanding 18 hole championship golf courses at La Manga Club, with each one having its own unique style, terrain and character to provide a fantastic variety of different golf games. All three courses overlook the awe-inspiring Mar Menor and therefore all share the same tranquil surroundings and stunning views of beauty. These three courses at La Manga Golf Club have outstanding training and practice facilities which allows golfers to be challenged no matter what their age or ability. La Manga Club in Spain offers one of the most unique and diverse golfing experiences in Europe, whether you plan to play golf all throughout your holiday or just in addition to your luxury family holiday. You can finely tune certain aspects of your game or enter one of the many complete tuition courses, so whatever your motives the courses at La Manga Golf Club will cater to your every need. The West Golf Course – Set within the peaceful pine woodlands and boasting an atmosphere of natural beauty, the West Golf Course at La Manga Club is different in design to the other two classical championship courses because it follows the natural contours of the smooth, wavelike land. It is a superb golf course that offers an alternative full of unique character, so this is a course you will definitely want to play on.
The course frequently changes in elevation so you will find play can be deceptive; the golfer playing on the West Golf Course will not be gifted an easy game, and will instead have to deal with the natural storm gullies known as the barrancas. Accuracy when driving is demanded from the front nine in order to avoid these hazards whilst the back nine opens up amongst the hills, but you must take note that it is a challenge again and therefore produces an exceptional round of golf. The North Golf Course – Originally designed and created in 1971 by Robert Dean Putman, the North Golf Course at La Manga Club is an 18 hole championship golf course that has been completely renovated as of 2000-2001. It is deemed to be the highlight of the golfing experience at La Manga Club by many of our visitors, who face a golf course played between palm trees, lakes and water hazards. This is a different yet still challenging golf course, adding a great experience of fantastic golf at La Manga Club.
The North Golf Courses layout shows that the fundamental aspect is precision and accuracy rather than length. Strategically placed around the course are ravines that can be avoided by laying up. With shorter and narrower fairways, and larger greens compared to the South Golf Course, it is a slightly more undulating golf course. There is a stunning landscape that can be seen across La Manga Club Resort to the golf courses highest point, the fourth tee. The South Golf Course – Originally the South Golf Course at La Manga Club was designed by Robert Dean Putman in 1971, and has subsequently been redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 1992. In 2004 the remodelled South Golf Course was completely refurbished to ensure the highest standards are always upheld. The spectacular South Golf Course at La Manga Club is widely accepted as one of the fairer challenges on offer with a more classical design. This is a magnificent championship course that offers an enjoyable yet thorough test to novices and professionals alike.
La Manga Clubs South Golf Course has water hazards on 15 of its 18 holes. The wide fairways are lined with palm trees and only feature a handful of hidden dangers throughout the whole course. | | If you feel the courses at La Manga Golf Club interest you into wanting to book golf, you may do so when you arrive at the outstanding luxury resort. |
