Yes, you can obtain a golf handicap whilst on holiday at La Manga Club. Simply visit the golf academy in order to achieve your handicap by taking part in one of the golf academy courses. You will simply play three rounds of golf on the North or West course whilst being assessed from the scores of those the rounds to determine your handicap level.

Do I need a Golf Handicap at La Manga Club?
At La Manga Club you will find three outstanding championship 18 hold golf courses. If you are looking to play golf on your holiday to La Manga Club and do not possess a golf handicap certificate then do not worry. You are able to play the North and West courses without a handicap and the south can be played via gaining a certificate at the golf academy at La Manga Club.

Yes, you can book your tee times at La Manga Club in advance by contacting the golf club house at the resort. We ask you to book directly with the clubhouse for the best golf packages available at La Manga Club. Alternatively you may also book additional rounds when you arrive at the resort.

At La Manga Club you are able to play throughout the year due to the wonderful climate of the Mediterranean. With very little rainfall, the mild weather in the low season allows golfers to experience a pleasant warm golf break, even during winter.

Do I need to bring my golf clubs to La Manga Club?
If it not necessary to bring your golf clubs to La Manga Club on holiday as you are able to purchase and hire golf equipment from the large range of golfing attire at the golf pro shop in the clubhouse. The golf pro shop provides a wide selection of the top brands for hire including left handed clubs. You can hire the clubs in half or full sets which is down to your personal preference. Whether you wish to bring your own clubs is simply your choice.

Is there a dress code at La Manga Club?
Yes, at La Manga Club you will have to abide by the dress code below to be able to play on any of the courses or golf facilities including the academy, driving range and putting green areas. Please follow the dress code below:

All recognised and accepted golfing headwear are accepted, caps must be worn with the peak at the front. Golf Shirts must have collars with either long or short sleeves. Long trousers must be tailors and appropriate for golf and shorts must be Tailored Bermuda shorts that are not below the knee and more than 10cms above the knee. Socks must be worn with shorts and of one single plain colour. Socks below ankle height are not permitted. Shoes with soft spikes are only permitted providing they are white or black in colour. Soft spikes are obligatory on all three courses. A spike changing service is available at the locker rooms in the main golf clubhouse. Mobile phones are not permitted other than making a call in a medical emergency. There are also emergency telephones positioned around the course.
